Do these four small things every school day. They stop most device problems before they start.
Plug in your device when you can. Updates need battery power to install.
Too many open tabs and apps make your device slow.
Videos, games, and other devices at home all share the same internet. Ask others at home to pause them during class.
Restarting lets Windows finish updates and helps your device run faster. Restart early, so updates are done before your next class.
Device Maintenance
Take a few minutes once a week. Try to pick the same day and time each week.
Go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for Updates. Install anything that shows up, and let it finish all the way.
Some updates need a restart to finish. If your device asks you to restart, do it.
This refreshes Teams and can fix messages or files that are not showing up. Click your profile picture in Teams, then click Sign Out.
In Edge, click the three dots, then Settings, then Privacy, search, and services, then Choose what to clear. Check only Cached images and files. Do not check Passwords. Then click Clear now.
