Parents are encouraged to contact the child’s teacher(s) or EC case manager with questions, concerns and to share pertinent information with the school.  Parents have access to teachers' contact information on the OVS website or call (910) 989-2013 for support with contacting your child’s teacher.

During the IEP transition meeting, the IEP team will determine the services, accommodations, modifications etc. that the student requires to access the curriculum. All services will be delivered virtually by designated school staff.

No, all services will be delivered virtually to students enrolled in OVS.

Yes.  The IEP team will continue to make the determination about the need for a Behavior Intervention Plan or a Behavior Support Plan based on the student’s needs.

Any student is eligible to enroll in OVS, students following the OCS pathway complete a combination of course requirements, work hours, and a Career Portfolio.  Since OVS will be providing online instruction only, students will have the opportunity to complete alternative assignments to help satisfy work hour requirements. The OVS team will review student transcripts, work hour completion logs, and Career Portfolio requirements to determine student progress towards graduation.
