Now is the time to consider applying to NC Governor's School for next Summer!
NC Governor's School is a 4-week immersive experience for students following your junior year. Governor's School takes place on a NC college campus, while living in the college dorms, just like a real college student! Students choose from a specific academic discipline, foreign language (Spanish), or performing arts.
Students who attend Governor's School, often say that it was a "life changing experience." Many students find their eventual college roommate, receive top notch college recommendations and even scholarship offers just for having the prestige of being a Governor's School alumni.

You must apply electronically and receive two adult recommendations (view links below). All completed applications and recommendations must be sent to: louis.caratelli@onslow.k12.nc.us electronically, by Friday, November 12th. Teachers were already sent the recommendation link, but other adults can recommend you as well.
NC Governor’s school charges a $500 tuition. Please do not let this fee be a factor in whether you apply or not. Onslow County Schools Gifted Services will pay the tuition fee for students accepted to attend.
